Scenic waterfall in historic setting

Waterfall

Öxarárfoss is a beautiful waterfall in Þingvellir National Park, Iceland. It's like nature's own water show, with the river Öxará doing a double-drop dance over the cliffs of Almannagjá gorge. At 13 meters high and 6 meters wide, it's a pretty cool sight to see. Plus, you can visit all year round, but watch out for crowds in summer and icy rocks in winter. Don't forget the historical vibes too - this place used to be the spot for the Icelandic parliament back in the day. So yeah, Öxarárfoss is not just a waterfall; it's a whole vibe.
