Tinganes is a historic spot in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands, where the government used to meet back in the Viking days. It's like the OG parliament hangout, dating all the way back to 825. Nowadays, the government has moved north, but Tinganes still holds it down as the home of the home-rule government. The buildings there are super old-school, some from the 16th and 17th centuries, and they're still kicking it today. Plus, Tinganes splits the Tórshavn harbor into two parts, Eystaravág and Vesteravág. So basically, it's a cool mix of history and modern-day government vibes.
