Important Tips for Visiting Snow Lake
Gas up beforehand! Gas stations have limited hours.
A quick story: On our way to Wekusko Falls Provincial Park, we arrived in Snow Lake with barely any gas left around 3PM. To our surprise, the only two gas stations in town were closed, and we found out that the one station scheduled to open that day wouldn’t be open until 6 PM. We ended up waiting for 3 hours! The lesson here? Always top up your tank whenever you see a gas station—especially when you’re on the road in remote areas like Snow Lake!
Plan ahead. Services are limited, so carry essentials.
