Head east from Portland along I-84 towards the Columbia River Gorge. Drive approximately 30 minutes and take Exit #28, then turn right on the Historic Columbia River Highway and travel west for approximately 3 miles to the Latourell Falls parking lot on your left. Latourell Falls is a beautiful scenic waterfall surrounded by lush foliage and you only have to walk a few minutes from the parking lot to see it! In saying that, there is a 2 mile loop hike that leaves from the same trailhead if you feel like stretching your legs and exploring more of the area.
