Maresia Restaurante in Faja Grande offers a unique dining experience with its stunning ocean views and delicious seafood dishes. This place is more than a restaurant—there’s no menu and only a few tables. When you arrive, owner Jorge greets you like you're stepping into his own living room. He'll tell you what he's cooking that day and how long it'll take. If you’re up for it, you’re welcome to grab a seat. We’ve been twice—once for the prawn curry and another time for the octopus, and both were absolutely amazing. You can also drop by just to catch the sunset, chat with Jorge, browse his collection of over 800 vinyl records, sip on a Rocha Negra Azorean gin, and take in the stunning sea view.
Prices are pretty reasonable too: main courses range from 15 to 25€, appetizers around 7€, a glass of wine for 4€, and that delicious gin for 7€.
