Miradouro do Cartário is a viewpoint located on the island of Flores in the Azores archipelago. It offers stunning views of the surrounding landscapes, including the ocean and green hills. The name "Cartário" comes from the Portuguese word "cartário," which means "quarry." This name reflects the area's history, as there was once a quarry in the vicinity where stone was extracted.
Although it may not be especially distinguished for its views, it is notable as the starting point of the 13-kilometer PR 02 FLO Hiking Trail, which leads directly to Fajã Grande. The trail offers a scenic route through the island's landscapes, connecting visitors to one of Flores' picturesque locations.
