The San Giacomo Church in Bellagio is a stunning example of Roman-Lombard art, dating back to the 12th century. Built by the Masters of Como between 1075 and 1125, this church boasts mosaics from the early 1900s, a rich altar from the late 1500s, and impressive artworks like a "Deposition of Christ" by the Perugino school. Visitors can also admire an archaic cross from the 12th century, a triptych by Foppa from 1432, and a polychrome wooden sculpture of the "Buried Christ" from the Spanish-Baroque school. Sunday Mass is held at 9:00 am.
