Leynar is a small village located on the west coast of Streymoy Island with a population of about 110 people. This village has its own beach which makes an attraction with the Faroese people especially in summer time when the weather is good and the sun is out. But even on a stormy day it is an impressive place to see the waves crashing into the shore. This village also has the amazing view of Vágar Island and Koltur island as well.
