Many locals head to Kúrdalsvegur in Hoyvík, Tórshavn, for a quick dip or a short swim. Occasionally, there's a sauna available for rent, but not always. If you’re looking to experience a refreshing dip in the Faroe Islands, this is the perfect spot.

As you make your way down to this small harbor, you’ll notice a tiny island with a lighthouse—Hoyvíkshólmur. It’s one of my favorite spots in Tórshavn to photograph, no matter the weather. But there’s something special about capturing it in winter on a stormy day. :)
