Syðradalur, nestled on the west coast of Streymoy Island in the Faroe Islands, is a hidden gem known for its remote and unspoiled beauty. This small settlement offers breathtaking sea views and a tranquil atmosphere, perfect for those seeking a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With only a farmer and his family residing in this picturesque valley, Syðradalur is a place where you can truly disconnect and immerse yourself in the untouched natural surroundings.
I like to go here in the evenings to watch the sunset. If you go between September and April you should see the sunsets in the ocean, but that all depends on the weather of course.
