This is the most iconic spot on all Faroe Islands. The lake above the ocean is a must visit.

Once you reach the village of miðvagi, you need to take a right just before you reach the church of the village. Drive up and turn right on the second road you find. Keep on driving until you find a parking spot and the entrance. Once you arrive there you will see a small coffee shop. That is where you pay a fee to enter.

Important, Always be careful where you step and enjoy the view. This cliff is 142 meter high. Tip: At this location you can also see Bosadalafossur falls.

All you need to do is walk further down closer to the lake. If you come to visit in summer time, you can cross the river and see the amazing sea stacks “Geitisskoradrangar” 3 birds 1 stone ;)
