**Skællingur **

The small village of Skællingur which is located on the island of Streymoy. To get to this village you need to head over to the village of Leynar. Once you reach the beach of Leynar keep on driving straight and you will end up in the village Skællingur. There is another view of this village which I like a lot and I think you will like it too. It is a short hike from the mountain rod of Oyggjarvegur. Just park the car from where I marked on the map, cross the road and hike straight up until you reach the basalt columns. Walk farther on basalt columns and you will see the village of skællingur from up there. This hike takes about 30 to 40 minutes.
