Trøllanes is a cozy village located at the northern tip of the Faroese island of Kalsoy. With a population of just 13 people, it's a small and charming community known for its traditional meat specialty called Garnatálg, made from sheep fat. The village got its name, which means 'Troll peninsula', from a folklore tale about trolls visiting on Twelfth Night until they were scared away by the mention of Christ. Trøllanes is connected to the village of Mikladalur by a tunnel, making it a picturesque spot worth exploring in the Faroe Islands.
