Restaurant Carl Nielsen is rewarded with a recommendation in the Michelin guide for 2021.
And that recognition has not caused them to lower the level of ambition. On the contrary!
Every day they work with homemade quality, love for the craft
and new thinking of the best from a good Danish lunch table.
The central and cozy Copenhagen restaurant exudes history. It is named after
the great Danish composer Carl Nielsen, who lived in the property until 1915 with his wife, the sculptor Anne Marie Brodersen. If walls could talk, we would pay attention to interesting stories and stanzas from i.a. his famous opera Maskarade, which was performed while Carl Nielsen lived in the building that today houses Restaurant Carl Nielsen.
