We can’t talk about luxury resort experiences in Da Nang without mentioning the Intercontinental Da Nang Sun Peninsula Resort. This place is straight out of a fairy tale. If you imagine your dream paradise—crisp sandy beaches, clear blue water, palm trees, and a resort nestled in the lush hills and mountains of the upper peninsula of Da Nang—that’s exactly what this is. It’s absolutely stunning.

But that’s just the beginning. What really takes your breath away is the design and service. The architecture is outstanding, and it feels like all the rooms belong to an old oriental palace, with incredible woodwork, stunning interiors, and luxurious touches everywhere. That said, it's not a budget option—the cheapest room, with a panoramic ocean view (as all the rooms have), starts at $3,100 for a week. So yes, you’re going to splurge here.

We’d recommend going for either the one-bedroom spa villa or the one-bedroom seaside villa. They are more expensive at $6,700 and $9,150, but the experience is truly worth it. We were completely torn—we wanted to extend our stay for the rest of our time in Vietnam, but given the price, we only stayed for two nights. Still, we loved every single moment. Oh, and I have to mention—the breakfast is incredible.
