Unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to stay at the stunning Mixay Boutique Hotel in Da Nang, as it was sold out before we could book. It’s conveniently located in the city center, and the building has been newly renovated. The design is beautiful, with a mix of concrete and wooden art on the exterior—it’s truly fascinating. To us, it felt like the people behind Mixe Hotel value cultural authenticity while blending it with something modern and unique.
We were lucky enough to visit as guests, and we got to see the studio room, which was stunning. It had a balcony overlooking the garden and the ocean, and it was absolutely beautiful. The foyer and the way up to the rooms were also incredible—it felt like being inside an indoor botanical garden. The hotel isn’t huge, but as a boutique hotel, that’s part of its charm. It felt like a little botanical oasis, with a slight industrial and modern twist.
They also have a sort of indoor-outdoor pool, and the woodwork throughout the interior is just breathtaking. If you’re lucky enough to stay here, we highly recommend booking a room and enjoying this unique experience in the heart of Da Nang. Just keep in mind, it’s not right next to the beach, but it’s still close enough to all the amenities you’d want.
