Gammelstrand is one of the places most tourists kinda miss out on. Its never really mentioned as a destination which we think is sad.

This waterfront street offers many wonderful outdoors restaurants, cafes and bars and especially Amalie used to spend many hours here when she was a bartender at a nightclub that today is a delicious burger place on this street.

If you don't want to spend money but want to enjoy this location, just bring your own cold beer and sit on the shore of the channel while watching the Copenhagen life go by.
