This is Verada do Larano, our favorite sunrise spot on the island! (from May to October) This hidden gem is perfect for an early morning hike that offers a stunning payoff.

Start your journey on the trail, which winds through lush forests, rugged cliffs, and vibrant flora. Keep your eye on the trail and remember to bring a flash lights if you go for the sunrise as you will start your walk in the dark. The trail is actually quit long and ends in (INDSÆT) But to watch the sunrise you'll only need to walk the first 1.5 kilometers, making it perfect for the morning.

When you reach the ideal sunrise viewpoint, get ready to be amazed by the island waking up in all its glory. This serene is why we love this island so much. It is unspoiled and offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. As you hike back to the car after the AMAZING sunrise, that is when you get to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the coastline, sparkling ocean, and rolling hills. The trail is also rich in history, as it was once used by locals for travel and trade.
