Quite close to Plakias, you’ll notice that there’s plenty of smaller, secluded beaches, one next or really close to each other.

Some of those are Klissidi, Ammoudi and Damnoni. Because they’re small, these beautiful sandy bays tend to be crowded during high season. Therefore, May and June are the best months to explore these.

These secluded coves are quite close to Plakias and an excellent alternative if you wish to be in a less crowded beach. There are no sunbeds or shops on any of them, which means that you will have to bring your own shade, water, etc.
