This gorge, one of the many in the area, is located a few minutes away from the beach of Plakias and the gorge of Kourtaliotis.

A characteristic point is the church of Ayios Nikolaos, built at a steep location inside the rock. Tip: be extra careful when stopping to check out the chapel, as rocks come falling from high up. There are signs that indicate this, so it has to be a quick stop.

You can either drive or hike through Kotsifou. The drive itself offers amazing views and then takes you down to the beach at Plakias.
