Here’s a tip: When in Tsoutsouros, get up early and take the short hike to nearby Maridaki, a fishing village near Tsoutsouros. It’s a very easy 30-mins marked hike with stunning views to the sea and the pebble beach of Maridaki. This area is full of hiking trails, mainly the E4, which is a major European trail. The E4 goes through Crete, from West to East.
