On the foothills of Mt. Psiloritis lies Amari, a very quiet and quaint little village, way off the beaten track and surrounded by lush greenery.

The main attraction is the Village Tower that dominates from above in the center of the village. If you visit Amari, make sure you take the cobblestone pathway to the church and check out the view. You will see the top of Mt Psiloritis, an overview of the village, as well as the mountain slopes in the surrounding area.

Also, while in the area, you might want to stop at nearby Spili and then see the fertile mountainous plateau of Gious, just a little outside Amari.
