The Wengernalp Railway - Grindelwald is a cogwheel mountain that travels between Grindelwald and the Kleine Scheidegg mountain pass.

How to get there
By public transport:
Ride a train to Grindelwald. From Interlaken 36 min, Lauterbrunnen 39 min.
Then switch to the Wengernalp mountain train headed to Kleine Scheidegg, first stop Grindelwald Grund.
By car:
It's easier to park near the Grindelwald Grund station, instead of the main Grindelwald station.
There is a large parking lot next to the station at Grundstrasse 67, 3818 Grindelwald.
Tickets
The ticket cost depends on how you are traveling and if you are only going one way or round trip. If you are unsure, go to the ticket office and explain what you want to do and they will sell you the correct ticket.
You can purchase tickets on the SBB Mobile App, SBB.ch as well as ticket machines and ticket office at the train station.
Tickets can be bought immediately before your journey and do not sell out. You cannot reserve seats on this train unless you are a big group.
