Just north of Zurich city, there are two small lakes nestled in a nature reserve. You can easily reach the largest lake with a short and easy stroll from the parking.

This is a popular swimming spot in summer, with grassy lawns, easy entry to the lake, changing rooms, and toilets. No entry fee.

For children, there is shallow splash area in the lake and adjacent playground. There is a cafe as well as a picnic area with grills.

Near the parking, there is a full service restaurant with amusements for children including a little train ride, go carts, and playground.

Walking path

If you want to stretch your legs, there is a lovely walking path around the lakes and through the farming countryside. The dirt path is easy and obstacle free, possible with an all-terrain stroller.

Trail: easy • 1h15 • 4 km loop • 20m up & down
