This short trail leads from the Furi gondola station to a fun suspension bridge over a deep river gorge.

Trail description

This trail starts at the Furi cable car station. You can ride a gondola here from Zermatt. Or you might arrive here by gondola after visiting Matterhorn Glacier Paradise or hiking the Matterhorn Glacier Trail.

From Furi, follow trail signs to "Hängebrücke," which is the suspension bridge. It takes about 20-30 mins to reach the bridge, mostly walking through a forest.

On the other side of the bridge, there is a nice picnic area in the forest with a playground, great if you have kids that need playtime. Near the playground, there is a “glacier garden” showing some interesting rock formations that were created by the glacier long ago.

When you are done, hike back the way you came.
