This mountain scooter ride is a fun add-on to hikes in the Alpstein reigon. It starts at the Ruhesitz mountain hut in the alps and finishes in the Brülisau village.

Unlike other mountain scooters, you cannot reach this scooter route with a gondola, but must hike. We suggest riding this scooter after doing one of these hikes from the Hoher Kasten peak (reachable by cable car):

You can rent the scooters at the Ruhestiz mountain hut - see on Google Maps.

Cost: In 2024, it costs CHF 16/person. Recommended for ages 10+. Younger children can ride double with an adult.
