This elegant cafe has an old world style, with a grand staircase and lots of artificial flowers brightening up the space. It's a lovely place to indulge in their famous hot chocolate, handmade pastries, delightful cakes, and even ice cream sundaes. We particularly like their apple strudel with vanilla sauce.

They also sell a wide assortment of Teuscher Chocolate's pralines, including the popular renowned Champagne Truffles.

Be warned - the hot chocolate is expensive and whipped cream is extra - CHF 13 total on my last visit. I prefer to order the smaller child's portion, which is more than enough happiness (and calories 😊) for me. It's a nice place to stop while shopping along the Bahnhofstrasse, Zürich's main shopping street.
