This restaurant is perched on the Zürich “mountain,” with a large terrace overlooking Lake Zürich and the alps beyond. In winter, you can enjoy fondue in their cozy restaurant full of traditional Swiss charm.
Their menu has lots of other classic Swiss dishes like rösti, capuns, raceltte, alpine macaroni, and more.
Getting to this restaurant is half the fun. From Adliswil, you can ride a cable car up the and then a short 5 minute walk to the Felsenegg restaurant. We typically just have coffee/hot chocolate and dessert. Their apple strudel is delicious but a little pricey but good.
Alternatively, you can drive and park at the Buchenegg pass and walk about 20 mins along the forested ridge to the restaurant, particularly charming when it snows. See trail info in my Felsenegg Winter post.
