This fascinating museum in Lucerne is dedicated to all modes of transportation, including planes, trains, automobiles, boats, space craft, and more. You can see and explore many real-life historical vehicles and learn through dozens of multimedia displays.
The museum has lots of fun activities and games for kids like flight simulators, a play construction zone, play TV studio, little car racing tracks, a mini airport and more. These interactive exhibits really help children explore and learn in a fun and engaging way.
They also have a planetarium and a film theatre showcasing films related to transportation and space. They have rotating temporary exhibits on related themes like energy and communication.
Some of the halls at hold the big machines (like the train and tram cars) are unheated and can get very cold in winter. Plus there are some outdoor amusements. So bring big coats for those parts and store them in the lockers later.
