This big waterfall near Mürren is an exciting adventure, with a beautiful hike and possibility to walk directly under the thundering falls.
The easiest way to reach the Sprutz waterfall is hiking there and back from the Mürren village, about 1 hour each way. See trail map.

Many people visit the Sprutz waterfall while hiking the Northface trail. It's a short detour off the main trail, following signs to "Sprutz." After the detour, you can rejoin the Northface trail and continue the loop back to Mürren.

If you are traveling by public transport, take a train to Lauterbrunnen. Then cross the street to the Lauterbrunnen-Grütschalp cable car station. Ride up to Grütschalp and transfer to the mountain train that takes you to the Mürren village.

By car, you can park in Stechelberg at the cable car station. Then ride the cable cars up to Mürren. This journey is discounted with the Swiss Half Fare Card.
