Göscheneralpsee - a picturesque reservoir situated 1792m above sea in the canton Uri, which is an incredibly beautiful and mountainous area. There are plenty of stunning hiking trails around the lake providing views on several mountain peaks including the Sustenhorn (3502m), Dammastock (3630m) and Galenstock (3586m). The moderately challenging circular hike around the lake starts in the Berggasthaus Dammagletscher, is 9km long with 456m elevation gain, around 3h10min to complete.
