Kleine Scheidegg in the gorgeous Bernese Oberland region is a majestic mountain pass situated below and between the Eiger and Lauberhorn peaks. Every year in early September, the popular Jungfrau Marathon—a rigorous mountain race—concludes at Kleine Scheidegg. On top of that, the picturesque pass marks the start of many Grindelwald ski area trails and hiking routes, including the captivating Alpine Pass Route designed to connect hikers all the way to Montreux.
