Message from Francesca & Tommaso

Bertinoro is a charming town in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. Located on the Mount Cesubeo, it has a rich history stretching back to the Iron Age, when a settlement was established nearby at Casticciano. This history was further highlighted by the presence of Emperor Frederick Barbarossa in Bertinoro's castle in 1177 and its change of name to Castrum Brittinori under Otto III. During more recent times the town hosts its famous Hospitality Festival every September to celebrate its hospitable traditions. There are several attractions to enjoy such as the Rocca, Communal Palace and the Cathedral. Bertinoro is also well known for housing Rabbi Obadiah ben Abraham, or "The Bartenura" after the town. With its ancient history and picturesque fascade, a visit to Bertinoro is sure to leave you with an unforgettable experience.
