Baan Kang Wat is an ancient village in Thailand that offers visitors the chance to explore centuries of traditional culture. Visitors can journey back in time as they wander along its winding alleys and explore its two-hundred-year-old temples, traditional markets, carefully restored homes and charming woodcarvings. The local women can be found weaving brightly coloured scarves and textiles by hand while children skipping around temples and playing games of soccer are a common sight. With its mix of traditional architecture, vibrant colour and idyllic scenery, this small village encapsulates all that is wonderful about Thailand.
