Christiansborg Palace is the current house of Danish Parliament, but before that, it was the home of the royal family. The palace has been rebuilt a few times due to fires, but the current Neo-baroque style building is worth a visit. You can take an elevator for free up the tower for beautiful, panoramic views of Copenhagen (there is a small staircase at the very top). In the museum, visitors can check out the Royal Reception Rooms, the Palace Chapel, and even some ancient ruins underneath the palace. There is so much to see at Christiansborg, it's definitely worth a visit for history or royalty enthusiasts.
