Healy Pass is one of our favorite day hikes to recommend in Banff, thanks to its gradual approach, well-defined trail, and incredible alpine scenery. This full-day hike leads through lush forests and open meadows, eventually opening up to stunning panoramic views of the surrounding peaks.

In summer, the meadows are often bursting with wildflowers, creating a truly picturesque landscape. Come fall, the area transforms into a golden paradise as the larch trees turn vibrant yellow. While the hike is approachable, it's worth noting that mosquitoes can be bad in mid-summer, so bug spray is a must.
