Mt. Bjólfur is a fun mountain to hike, just above the beautiful town of Seyðisfjörður. You can either hike all the way to the top or take a shorter and easier route to a viewpoint on the side of the mountain. Start your hike by an information sign by the parking lot.

QUICK NOTES:

• What it is: A mountain in the Eastfjords (just above Seyðisfjörður).

• Best season: Summer.

• Best time of day: Sunset is my favourite (photos taken during sunrise).

• Nice to know: You can hike to the top of the mountain (like the photos) but there's also an easier way with a road that leads you to a nice viewpoint.
