The oldest swimming pool in town where locals and visitors can take a dip and relax. Built in 1945 it really has a cultural and historic vibe to it.

Swimming pools are an integral part of Icelandic culture and has been ever since people started gathering in natural hot springs in the past. It's where people meet an talk about everything from the weather to politics. Entering one of those pools is really the easiest way to immerse yourself in the local culture.

PS. They're almost all geothermally heated!
