Skarðsvík Beach, located on the western tip of the Snæfellsnes peninsula, stands out with its golden sandy shores and turquoise waters, making it look almost tropical rather than your typical Icelandic beach. Despite its beauty, the waves here can be pretty wild, so it's best to keep a safe distance. Accessible via a gravel road with stunning views on the way to Svörtuloft Lighthouse.
