Svínafellsjökull is an outlet glacier of Europe's largest ice cap, located just off the ring road. Svínafellsjökull can be easily accessed from two parking lots and to get this view you'll need to visit the eastern one. You can walk all the way to the lagoon at the base of the glacier where you have epic views of the entire icefall. On the "beach" there tend to be a lot of broken off icebergs which you can look at and play with.
