Once this canyon was called "The secret canyon" after getting famous on social media. Today it's not so secret anymore but since you have to walk for around 30-45 minutes to get there, there usually aren't swarms of people there. With two waterfalls coming down (Hangandifoss and Múlafoss) in the deep canyon, this place is bound to impress you!

QUICK NOTES:

• What it is: An epic canyon with 2 waterfalls coming down.

• Best season: Any (but hiking there can be harder during winter).

• Best time of day: If you want the waterfall lit up you're better off aiming for midday but any time is beautiful there.

• Nice to know: The hike takes around 45-60 minutes there and back. You'll quickly see the most popular photo spot but if you have time you can also keep going along the cliffs (only on designated and obvious trails) for different view points.
