Loch Shiel is a beautiful freshwater loch situated just 12 miles west of Fort William in the Highland council area of Scotland.
It the fourth longest loch in Scotland and was formed at the end of the last ice age. Many will visit here when visiting the Glenfinnan Viaduct, but make sure to visit the mouth of the loch and admire this site too!
