Bealach na Bà is a thrilling mountain pass in the Scottish Highlands. The historic pass was built in 1822 and consists of tight hairpin bends and slopes reaching up to 20%. It stands at an impressive 2,054ft above sea level and is the third highest road in Scotland.
Not for the faint of heart, Bealach na Bà has been featured on television shows and in movies such as Hamish Macbeth and Laxdale Hall. Cycling enthusiasts can test their mettle by taking part in either the Bealach Beag or Bealach Mòr events, and travelers who brave the route are rewarded with spectacular views along the way.
