Scone Palace holds historical significance as the place where Scottish kings were crowned, including Robert the Bruce and Charles II.
Built in the Gothic Revival style, this Category A-listed building was originally the site of an early Christian church and later an Augustinian priory. The palace and its grounds, featuring a collection of fir trees and a star-shaped maze, are an amazing place to spend a few hours, or even the full day.
There is also a café on site with delicious snacks and a great lunch.
