Nestled in the Scottish Highlands, Plockton is a small village with an abundance of beauty and charm.
Its position on the loch, surrounded by mountains on either side, makes this one of the most tranquil and beautiful places to stop for lunch. It's so close to the crossing to Skye and the area around Torridon and you will regret a visit here.
The warm Gulf Stream current means that the climate here is surprisingly mild for Scotland. A mixture of yellow-painted cottages and palm trees makes this a very unique photo spot.
There's something here for everyone, whether you want to take a boat trip on Loch Carron to spot wildlife, shop for crafts in a local store, or simply relax with a pint in one of the village’s three hotels.
