Findelengletscher is located above Zermatt, the "Matterhorn village". This is why we also start from there, taking the cable car up to "Sunnegga" (see link below). From there we hike slightly upwards, crossing by lake Stelisee until we reach the glacier bed. Now we have to be careful to not lose the path, since there can be holes in the ground that melting ice has left behind. But don't worry, after some minutes we already see the glacier tongue. All experienced mountaineers can also take a stroll on the glacier now. Pro tip: Picnicing in the glacier forefield between little creeks and glacier lakes is one of the best things you can do!
