Te Whanganui-A-Hei (Cathedral Cove) Marine Reserve is a popular spot in New Zealand, located on the Coromandel Peninsula. Covering 840 hectares, it's known for its stunning natural rock archway and beautiful beaches. With around 150,000 visitors per year, it's a hotspot for tourists. Unfortunately, the walkway to the cove was damaged by Cyclone Gabrielle in February 2023, and there are doubts about its reopening due to ground stability issues. Despite this, you can still catch a glimpse of the cove from boats, but beach access is limited.
