Castle Point Lighthouse, located in New Zealand's North Island near the village of Castlepoint, stands tall at 52 meters above sea level. Built in 1913, this lighthouse was originally fueled by oil but later switched to electricity. With a rotating beam that can be seen for 26 nautical miles, it has become a popular tourist attraction known as "The Holiday Light." Fully automated since 1988, the lighthouse is now managed from a control room in Wellington.
