This is a popular and relatively easy hike in Madeira and is one of our favourites! The trail takes you through serene forests, narrow tunnels and ends up at a photogenic 100m waterfall. The trail is mostly flat with minimal elevation gain, making it perfect for a relaxing day out in nature. It's best to start early to avoid crowds and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Don't forget to bring torch for the tunnels!
