Ukimido Park is a beautiful and tranquil spot situated in the Nara Park near Kasuga Taisha Shrine. This hexagonal gazebo creates an otherworldly sight as it seems to be "floating" over the Sagiike Pond. The ideal spot for a peaceful rest after exploring all the nearby temples, Ukimido gives visitors an opportunity to relax and appreciate their surroundings. It also serves as an event site for one of Nara’s most popular illumination events, Toukae.
